This new cultural center works in a building dating from 1920 which was used as an oil plant and storehouse until 1992. When it was acquired to open Ciudad Cultural Konex, the firm Clorindo Testa & Associates was assigned to transform this building into a cultural space, keeping the original architectural details. There, all kinds of art expressions coexist. Most of the activities are developed in the open air, at the big front yard. It also counts with facilities for indoor activities such as exhibitions and theater plays.
Part of the complex is taken up by the new Konex Design Store, a place where young independent Argentine designers can exhibit their work.
