This is one of the most traditional pizza places in Buenos Aires. It was inaugurated in 1951 and it is located on the corner of Uruguay St. and Corrientes Ave. It was one of the pioneers in “pizza a la piedra” (thin crust and crunchy pizza), when the custom was to consume a thick-crust type of pizza. This way, this place earned its fame, becoming a classic in the city. Its three branches are covered in pictures of sports, music and art stars in Buenos Aires, among which Carlos Gardel’s stands out.
Its menu offers a great variety of pizzas and “empanadas”, even though local fast food and pasta are an option as well.
