This passage covers three blocks in a “U” form around the church of the same name, and the same name the street where they join used to have until it was named Bartolomé Mitre in 1901. The path was constructed at the end of the XIXth century, combining different styles, the eclectic French and Italian of the “Generación del ’80” (an elite from the 1880s) clearly noticeable. Along the passage, we find buildings with green spaces in the front and in the balconies that make it like a private drive, due to the width of the streets. There are four blocks of apartments, to which access is available through Mitre, Montevideo and Paraná Streets. The ground floors are connected by a line of commercial premises. It is included in the group of historic areas protected by the city’s administration.
