Buenos Aires | Religion

Santa Catalina Church

While Argentines enjoy freedom of religion, the majority of the population is Catholic. Judaism also has an important role in the culture of the country. Buenos Aires has the third largest Jewish community in the world. There are many synagogues and they preserve a large number of festivals, customs and traditional cuisine of this religion.
On a smaller scale, Islam, Protestantism, and Greek Orthodox and Russian Orthodox religions also have houses of worship.
